Classes at Godolkin University are officially in session.

The first three episodes of Prime Video‘s newest original series, “Gen V,” are now streaming on the service. It’s already as bloody, raunchy, and outrageous as you might expect, considering it’s a spinoff of Prime Video’s other bloody, raunchy, and outrageous series “The Boys.”

Set in the same universe as “The Boys,” where corporation Vought International markets and monetizes super-powered people who often abuse their power, “Gen V” takes the action down to God-U, a university for super-powered young adults run by — you guessed it — Vought International. The school pits students against each other by “ranking” them based on powers and other factors.

The show focuses on the first generation of young adults who are aware of the fact that they have powers because their parents made shady deals with the Vought Corporation.

For fans of “The Boys,” the new series is a must-watch, full of in-jokes and references to the larger world that the show is set in. Like the original series, “Gen V” is based on comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, and the series was developed by Eric Kripke, alongside “The Boys” executive producers Craig Rosenberg and Evan Goldberg.
