Queen Letizia's net worth: The Spanish royal earns the same salary every year
Queen Letizia earns 139,610 euros (£117,530) a year, which has remained the same for the last few years. Her daughters, Princess Leonor and Princess Sofia, don’t get any allowance.
In 2015, in an effort to appeal to the general public, the king slashed his own salary by 20 percent.
The Spanish royal family receives their money from the country’s budget, which means is completely tax-payer funded.
That money “is received and distributed by the King to support his home and family,” explains the Spanish constitution.
